Question by dave angel: How can I convince my sceptical fiancee that a new ‘bike is what I need?
Had a Hornet and GSX600F which had to be sold on instruction of “she who must be obeyed”. She hates bikes and I would be keen to obtain another, purely for commuting purposes ; )
I have tried all usual approaches and understand the point of view that she claims “you’ll die and I’ll be left on my own”, however there are some very good finance deals out there and I’m not a road rash refugee when I ride. Anyone have a good financial argument? I want figures re MPG and cost of running. She’s a civil servant and knows the cost of everything..

tell her its eitehr the bike or you will be taking out a loan for a porsche.
